Karl is the firm’s founder and specializes in taxation of individuals, partnerships and closely held corporations as well as taxation and accounting for real estate and high net worth individual clients. He has extensive experience in specialized tax situations and client representation before the Internal Revenue Service and Franchise Tax Board. His emphasis is on comprehensive tax planning and transaction structuring to minimize taxes and avoid subsequent tax complications. Karl has experience in diverse businesses such as law firms, medical and dental practices, engineers, architects and other professional service industry clients and retailers.

Karl is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from California State University, Northridge, and a Master’s Degree in Business Taxation from Golden Gate University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CALCPA). He has been working in the field of public accounting and taxation for over 35 years.
